He was born on January 17, 1706 and he was born in Boston Massachusetts. You know Ben Franklin as a president, but what about a printer. He was first in a printer shop when he was printing a letter. He tought himself to read French, Latin and Italian. He was the fifteenth child of seventeen children there were seven sisters and nine brothers. He was the first mailman in Philadelphia. His nickname was "Water American" because his friends drank a lot rum but he drank water instead. He had a pet lizard named Mozart and when he was sixteen when he was sixteen he became a veretarian so he could spend his money on books instead of meat. Also, he signed the Declaration of Independence when he was seventy. Fourteen years later when he was eighty-four he died on April 17, 1790. He became one of the greatest presidents known to man.
