History Behind St.Patrik's Day
You've heard of it, you've probably have celebrated it,-yes St.Patrick's Day.First off, St.Patric's Day is on March 17th, which was a religious feast day.The Irish have observed this this day as a religious holiday for over a thousand years.The traditional meal of Irish is bacon and cabbage.If you think St.Patrick's Day is just a holiday, think again.St.Patrick's Day also is an anniversary of St.Patrick's death.He was a patron saint of Ireland, and one of Christianity's most widely known figures.Even though he is famous world wide, his life is still a mystery.St.Patrick's Day is the day to wear green and eating corn beef and cabbage.
