Abraham Lincoln was born in 1809. He grew up in Knob Creek Kentucky. Abe was named after his grandfather Abraham and was full of determination. This was because, he was determine to end slavery forever! He ran for President, and was elected by almost all northern citizens! He also passed a law that slavery was abolished in the south. His life ended while watching a play and was killed by John Wilkes Booth. And later in 1909 Theodore Roosevelt laid Abe's gravestone in the Lincoln grave.
