Pi Day... Why is it on March 14th?

Pi was created by the ingenious Egyptians, the people that were a huge parts of mathematic history! 3.14 or pi, is a lot more powerful than it seems, in fact, it is the most common used number in history. The numeral is intensively used on the day that this whole blog is about, Pi Day!!!! Pi day is on March 14th because March is the third month of the year, (3) and fourteen is the fourteenth day of the year (.14). So if you put those two together, you get 3.14! Pi Day has been celebrated since 1988, Pi Day was created by Larry Shaw who lived in San Francisco and was a physicist.

The Egyptians were huge parts of the world’s history showing us how they did things then and how we should do things now!
