Whats The Matter?
Have you ever wondered what the three types of matter are? Well if you do, now is a great time for you to find out. The first type of matter is liquid. A liquid is something like water, juice, milk or anything that can turn into different shapes by getting poured into a container. Another type of matter is a gas. This is a fluid that has no independent shape or volume, but tends to expand indefinitely. An example for that would be: water vapor. Finally, the last type of matter is a solid. The definition for a solid is; a definite shape and volume, but not a liquid or a gas. Also, it has to be firm or compact in the substance and not hollowed out.For example: a solid block of wood. Thank you for reading about matter! Emily B.
