Pi Day

Pi day is celebrated on March 14 at 1:59 PM. This is because the first five digits of pi are 3,1,4,1,5 and 9. Even though pi is an irrational number and has infinite digits, it is usually known by either 3.14 or 3.1415926. It is not a national holiday, but many americans do celebrate it. The top ten ways people celebrate it are: Wearing pi clothing, converting things to pi, playing weird pi games, eating pi foods, pi mile runs, watching the movie "Pi", listening to the song "Pi" by Kate Bush, making pi clubs, getting married on Pi Day and wearing pi hair!
